This is part of one of the verses of "It Is Well With My Soul".

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!

My sin, not in part but the whole

Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul!

When Horatio Spafford wrote, "My sin, not in part, but the whole," he was celebrating the complete forgiveness purchased by Christ on the cross. Jesus didn't pay for some of our sins and leave the rest for us to carry. For everyone who trusts in Him, the entire debt has been nailed to the cross, and we are forever reconciled to God.
