Matthew 18:22

When Peter asks Christ how often is he supposed to forgive his brother when he continues to sin against him, Peter says, "Up to seven times?" And Christ's response was, "Not seven times, but seventy times seven." This was His way of saying, every single time he sins against you. So 70 x 7 is a reminder that we are always supposed to forgive those who sin against us. There are no exceptions.
